About TekJobs

TekJobs is a job board and resume bank for IT hiring in the United States,
run by Tekjobs Inc.

What we do

Employers post roles and search a bank of candidate profiles. Candidates apply to a job with one
resume and can be found by the employers searching for their skills. Everything on the site is
about that exchange: there is no feed, no scoring of people against each other in public, and no
list anyone is added to without asking.

How a search works

An employer filters by skill area, work authorization, tax terms, experience, rate, state and how
recently a candidate was active, and can search the text of a resume. Contact details are never
in a result list. An employer sees a phone number or an email address only by opening a profile,
which is counted against their plan and recorded.

What we do with candidate details

A profile is visible to employers searching the site, or only to the employers a candidate
applies to, and that choice belongs to the candidate. Contact details are never shown in a list,
never put in a web address and never sold. A candidate can change their details, replace their
resume or remove their profile from their own account.

Email

We send email that a person asked for: a sign in code, a confirmation of an application, and job
alerts that are switched on only after the person presses a link in a confirmation email. Every
alert carries the name and postal address of Tekjobs Inc and a link that stops it in one click.
