Title: Infrastructure Project Manager (Cloud & Infrastructure)
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to plan, execute, and govern enterprise-scale infrastructure and cloud initiatives. In this role, you will lead cross-functional technical teams through data center modernizations, network/server upgrades, and cloud migration programs (Azure/AWS). You will manage end-to-end delivery-from requirements gathering and sprint planning to budget control, risk mitigation, and executive reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Governance: Lead full-lifecycle infrastructure and cloud implementation programs, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Cloud & Migration Workstreams: Coordinate technical teams delivering cloud migrations (IaaS/PaaS), cloud landing zones, workload transitions, and hybrid cloud integration programs.
- Core Infrastructure Management: Oversee on-premises and data center projects, including server provisioning, storage, network upgrades (LAN/WAN, firewalls), virtualization, and disaster recovery setups.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with enterprise architects, cloud engineers, DevOps teams, business owners, and external vendors to track milestones and remove technical blockers.
- Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify project dependencies, track risks, implement mitigation strategies, and manage change control processes across critical production environments.
- Resource & Financial Tracking: Manage project budgets, software/hardware licensing procurement, resource allocation, and vendor Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide executive status dashboards, run steering committee meetings, and maintain project documentation via tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or ServiceNow.
