Position: Lead - Java Developer
End client: Transamerica
Location: Remote
JD:
Senior Full Stack Java
Hands-on engineer who designs and builds full stack solutions while bridging business requirements and technical delivery.
Must-Have
Backend: Java, JEE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Apache Camel (REST services), Node.js, npm, NestJS
Frontend: Angular (incl. AngularJS), JavaScript, TypeScript
DevOps & Cloud: Docker, Git, Maven, Jenkins/CI-CD, AWS (preferred), Terraform, AI-assisted spec-driven coding (AWS Kiro a plus)
Testing: Karma, Playwright, Vitest
Business Analysis & Delivery:
- Process mapping (AS-IS / TO-BE), requirements elicitation, gap & impact analysis
- Functional/non-functional documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog grooming
- UAT planning, coordination, defect triage
- Stakeholder management across business & IT
- Data analysis & reporting (SQL, Excel, dashboards)
- Security concepts, SDLC/DevOps/CI-CD familiarity
- Incident, problem & change management
Nice-to-Have
Technical PM: End-to-end delivery, Agile/Scrum & Waterfall, sprint & PI planning, RAID management, scope/change control, cross-team coordination, executive reporting, dependency & milestone tracking, basic budget coordination
Tools: Jira / Azure DevOps, Confluence / SharePoint, ServiceNow, MS Project / Smartsheet, Visio / Lucidchart, PowerPoint
