Job Title: Salesforce Platform Developer
Experience: 5+ Years
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Platform Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable, secure, and reusable Salesforce solutions while following platform best practices and maintaining high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, including triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex.
- Build responsive, reusable, and high-performing Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance user experience.
- Develop and optimize SOQL and SOSL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Named Credentials.
- Build and maintain declarative automation using Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields.
- Manage source-controlled development and deployments using Salesforce DX (SFDX), VS Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement Salesforce security best practices, including profiles, permission sets, organization-wide defaults (OWD), and sharing rules.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce governor limits, security standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide production support for Salesforce platform enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, including triggers, asynchronous processing, batch jobs, and scheduled jobs.
- Extensive experience developing Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce governor limits, data security, OWD, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP API integrations, Platform Events, and Named Credentials.
- Experience building automation using Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields.
- Proficiency with Salesforce DX (SFDX), VS Code, source control, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with testing, documentation, debugging, and production support.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building reusable, scalable, and secure Salesforce integration components.
- Knowledge of Salesforce deployment strategies, release management, and automated testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Salesforce code quality standards and performance optimization.
