Role: Data Architect
Location: Anywhere in the East Coast, preferably New York/ New Jersey
Experience: 10+ years in Data Engineering/Architecture with strong recent Databricks experience.
Pharma domain exp preferred but not necessary.
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect who can both design and build end-to-end solutions. In this role, you will be a key contributor to MResult’s mission of empowering our clients with data driven insights and innovative digital solutions. Each day brings exciting challenges and growth opportunities. Key Skills to Succeed in This Role:
- Strong hands-on experience across the Databricks ecosystem, including Lakeflow, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, PySpark/Python and SQL
- Proven experience architecting and executing data and ETL migrations to Databricks
- Experience designing Lakehouse/Medallion architectures and scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Strong automation and framework mindset, with experience building reusable, metadata/configuration-driven migration and engineering frameworks
- Experience with pipeline orchestration, data quality, validation/reconciliation, CI/CD and performance optimization
- Ability to assess existing ETL workloads and define migration patterns, target architecture and implementation approach
- Strong client-facing and technical leadership skills, with the ability to guide onshore/offshore engineering teams
- Alteryx experience, particularly Alteryx-to-Databricks migration, is a strong value add.
- Experience with other ETL modernization/migration tools and AI-assisted migration or automation approaches is preferred
