Job Summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced iOS Developer/ Android Dev/ IOS+ android with 3+ years of professional experience developing scalable, high-performance mobile applications for Apple platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, iOS architecture, REST APIs, concurrency, and framework development.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality iOS applications while following modern development practices and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality iOS/ Android applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Build scalable, reusable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile application components.
  • Design, integrate, and consume RESTful APIs following OpenAPI Specification (OAS) standards.
  • Implement modern concurrency using Async/Await, Combine, and multithreading.
  • Apply appropriate iOS architecture patterns, including MVVM, Clean Architecture, VIPER, and similar design patterns.
  • Develop and maintain reusable iOS frameworks and libraries.
  • Manage application dependencies using Swift Package Manager (SPM).
  • Optimize applications for performance, memory utilization, responsiveness, reliability, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews, pull request reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Engineers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement automated build and deployment processes using Jenkins and Xcode toolchains.
  • Support application releases, deployment, and ongoing maintenance through the Apple App Store.
  • Follow software engineering best practices throughout the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in iOS/ Android application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Strong understanding of iOS application architecture and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with OpenAPI Specification (OAS).
  • Strong knowledge of Async/Await, Combine, concurrency, and multithreading.
  • Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, VIPER, or similar architecture patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Swift Package Manager (SPM).
  • Experience developing reusable iOS frameworks and libraries.
  • Strong experience with Xcode and the iOS development toolchain.
  • Understanding of application performance
