Role: Sigma Analytics Data Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Overview

• We are seeking experienced Sigma Analytics Data Engineers to support the productionization and operationalization of multiple client business solutions delivered on the Sigma Analytics platform.
• The resources will be responsible for transitioning existing Sigma use cases into scalable, reliable, and supportable production solutions.
• This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, platform teams, and analytics teams to support enterprise deployment, reporting capabilities, operational readiness, and ongoing solution support.

Key Responsibilities

• Productionize existing Sigma solutions supporting workforce management, forecasting, capacity planning, and other operational analytics initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between enterprise source systems, Snowflake, and Sigma.
• Build and optimize SQL-based transformations, business logic, and curated datasets that support business reporting and analytics.
• Design and maintain scalable Snowflake data models supporting reporting, planning, forecasting, and write-back capabilities.
• Develop and support dashboards, reporting solutions, KPIs, and analytical outputs used for operational and business decision-making.
• Support workbook deployment, security configuration, testing, validation, and release activities within Sigma.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of business metrics.
• Configure and support automated reporting, data delivery processes, and workflow integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data, reporting, integration, and performance issues across production environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks, and support knowledge-transfer activities.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience designing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data integrations.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience developing and supporting reporting and analytics solutions.
• Experience with reporting and visualization platforms such as Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and business-facing reporting solutions.
• Experience supporting production deployments, release management, and operational support processes.
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance, reconciliation, and monitoring practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sigma Analytics.
