Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong Java and AWS project knowledge to lead software development projects from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate should have experience managing Java-based applications, AWS cloud projects, Agile teams, and enterprise application development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of Java and AWS-based projects.
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including Java developers, AWS engineers, QA, DevOps, and architects.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and overall delivery.
  • Coordinate development of Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices applications.
  • Have a good understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Conduct project status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project risks, technical dependencies, and delivery issues.
  • Ensure projects follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and quality standards.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of IT/project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
  • Good knowledge of AWS Cloud and cloud-based application architecture.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, JIRA, project planning, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred

  • PMP / CSM certification.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
  • Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
