Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Delivery Engineer to deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain virtualized application platforms within customer networks and hosted environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), VMware vCenter/ESXi, Cisco networking, storage networking, and infrastructure deployment. This role involves working directly with customer engineering teams throughout deployment, production upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy virtualized infrastructure solutions within customer networks and hosted environments.
• Configure and manage VMware vCenter and ESXi environments.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems, including RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Configure storage networking to support virtualized application platforms.
• Install and configure security tools such as Nessus and CrowdStrike.
• Deploy and configure monitoring tools such as Centreon and Grafana.
• Prepare high-level and low-level infrastructure architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams to communicate technical requirements and resolve project issues.
• Troubleshoot network, operating system, application, and infrastructure-related problems.
• Capture and analyze Wireshark packet traces and investigate Linux logs using command-line tools.
• Identify software defects, report findings to development teams, and implement approved fixes.
• Participate in production maintenance windows for upgrades, patching, and platform updates.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and support handover materials.
• Deliver technical training to customer engineering teams on platform functionality and maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, particularly RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vCenter and ESXi.
• Strong networking fundamentals and experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Working knowledge of communication protocols, including SIP, RTP, and SSL/TLS.
• Ability to capture and analyze network traffic using Wireshark.
• Experience gathering and analyzing Linux logs and traces through the command line.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure in customer environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• RHCE, CCNA, or CCNP certification.
• Linux shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Nessus, CrowdStrike, Centreon, and Grafana.
• Basic understanding of PHP code.
• Familiarity with the Diameter protocol.
• Experience with TrueNAS storage solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure patching, production maintenance windows, and technical handovers.
