About the job
- Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using the Software AG webMethods suite.
- Build and maintain Flow services, Java services, web services (REST/SOAP), APIs, and microservices.
- Implement B2B integrations using webMethods Trading Networks, EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12), and XML/JSON messaging.
- Integrate application endpoints using webMethods adapters (JDBC, SAP, Salesforce, JMS, MQ, etc.).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize integration services and performance across environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, system architects, and business analysts to translate integration requirements into technical designs.
- Maintain complete documentation for integration flows, interface specifications, and technical designs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Core Technical Experience: 3+ years of experience hands-on developing with Software AG webMethods Integration Server, Designer, and Developer.
- Component Expertise: Strong experience with webMethods Trading Networks, Universal Messaging / Broker, My webMethods Server (MWS), and webMethods API Gateway.
- Protocols & Standards: Solid understanding of HTTP/S, FTP/SFTP, RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSLT, and EDI.
- Adapters & Databases: Hands-on experience with JDBC adapter and writing SQL queries/stored procedures; familiarity with SAP or JMS/MQ adapters is a plus.
- Programming: Proficiency in Flow language and custom Java service development within webMethods.
- Version Control & DevOps: Familiarity with Git/SVN and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) for webMethods package deployments.
