Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Ansible Developer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Ansible, Ansible Playbooks, YAML, Linux, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of experience in IT/Infrastructure Automation or DevOps.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform.
- Experience developing and maintaining Ansible Playbooks and Roles.
- Strong knowledge of YAML.
- Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Troubleshooting and debugging automation workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Ansible Tower / AWX.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- REST APIs and automation integrations.
- Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Experience in enterprise infrastructure or energy/utilities environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Ansible Playbooks and reusable Roles.
- Automate server configuration, provisioning, patching, and deployments.
- Manage infrastructure configurations across multiple environments.
- Integrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and improve reliability.
- Maintain version control and documentation.
- Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, security, and application teams.
