Job Overview
A leading global technology enterprise is seeking an experienced Contract Senior Project Manager to drive several time-bound, high-impact strategic initiatives across Global Travel Operations and Corporate Finance.
Operating as an independent project leader, you will own milestone delivery, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination for three major enterprise workstreams:
- Corporate Card Program Enhancements
- Global Travel Management Company (TMC) RFP & Transition
- ServiceNow Travel Desk Implementation
Scope of Work & Responsibilities 1. Corporate Card Program
- Lead project roadmaps, governance, and end-to-end rollout for corporate card enhancements and global footprint expansion.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Finance, Treasury, Legal, HR, and Travel leadership on governance, internal controls, and user policies.
- Author program roadmaps, risk assessments, status reports, adoption frameworks, and training documentation.
- Manage milestone tracking, RAID logs, and executive delivery checkpoints through completion.
- ServiceNow Travel Desk Implementation
- Manage end-to-end deployment of a ServiceNow-based Travel Desk solution from initial requirements through go-live and hypercare.
- Partner with IT, HR, Travel operations, and third-party vendors on workflow automation, service catalog design, and data integrations.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management strategies, and end-user readiness programs.
- Monitor release schedules, technical dependencies, and system stabilization metrics.
- Travel Agency (TMC) RFP & Vendor Transition
- Manage project deliverables for global Travel Management Company sourcing, evaluation, and selection.
- Coordinate project timelines, scorecards, stakeholder reviews, and procurement governance gates.
- Oversee vendor transition roadmaps, service-level operational readiness, and cutover tracking.
- Foster alignment between Global Procurement, Legal, Finance, and external vendor teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of formal project/program management experience delivering complex, enterprise-wide transformation programs.
- Proven background managing Corporate Card rollouts, corporate travel operations, or finance technology implementations.
- Direct experience with American Express (Amex) Corporate Card programs and TMC sourcing/transitions strongly preferred.
- Deep proficiency in enterprise project governance: RAID management, dependency mapping, executive dashboarding, and vendor accountability.
- Strong ability to translate complex business workflows into structured technical milestones.
- Superb executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management capabilities in matrixed enterprise environments.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Work Location: Must be available for onsite collaboration in Santa Clara, CA based on program and stakeholder needs.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on familiarity with travel and expense tools (SAP Concur, Coupa) and ServiceNow workflows.
- Exposure to reporting and BI analytics workstreams utilizing Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience leveraging modern AI productivity tools to accelerate PM deliverables and reporting.
- Prior track record supporting Fortune 500 technology companies.
