Senior Product Owner

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Owner with 13+ years of experience to lead product strategy, roadmap, requirements, and end-to-end product delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with senior stakeholders, Agile teams, and enterprise-level technology products.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and senior leadership to define product goals and priorities.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, risks, and dependencies.
- Lead and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Engineering, Architecture, QA, UX, Business Analysis, and other cross-functional teams.
- Provide clear product direction and resolve requirement-related issues and conflicts.
- Define and track KPIs, product metrics, and success criteria.
- Manage product releases and ensure successful delivery within scope and timelines.
- Communicate product roadmap, progress, risks, dependencies, and challenges to executive leadership.
- Identify opportunities for product improvement through customer feedback, market analysis, and data-driven insights.
- Mentor and guide Product Owners and junior team members when required.
Required Skills
- 13+ years of overall IT/product experience, with strong experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager.
- Extensive experience in Agile, Scrum, and product development methodologies.
- Strong expertise in Product Backlog Management, Roadmap Planning, User Stories, Epics, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile project management tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, APIs, cloud technologies, data, and enterprise applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple products, priorities, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with geographically distributed and offshore/onshore teams.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
- CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
