Position: Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps)
Location: Edina, MN (Hybrid) | Chicago, IL or Irving, TX (Hybrid)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate our enterprise cloud platform on Microsoft Azure. You will be instrumental in enabling our development, data, and AI teams to deliver solutions rapidly and securely. This role combines deep technical expertise with a platform mindset, focusing on creating automated, self-service capabilities that enhance developer productivity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Platform & DevOps: Design and implement internal platform capabilities, reusable patterns, and self-service tools. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate deployments across all environments.
· Cloud & IaC: Engineer and operate core Azure services (AKS, VNets, Key Vault, etc.). Develop and manage infrastructure using Pulumi (IaC) to ensure consistency and scalability.
· Kubernetes: Deploy, manage, and optimize workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), implementing best practices for scaling, resiliency, and secrets management.
· Security & Observability: Implement secure architectures using Entra ID, Managed Identities, and OIDC. Build monitoring and observability solutions using tools like Dynatrace and Azure Monitor.
Required Qualifications:
· 12+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering.
· 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
· Mandatory Skills: Azure DevOps, Pulumi, Python, CI/CD, AKS.
· Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
· Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, specifically with Pulumi.
· Experience operating Kubernetes platforms (AKS) and container technologies (Docker).
· Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Databricks and Postgres.
· Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).
· Relevant Azure or Kubernetes certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, CKA).
