Role:Architect I- Senior Backend + AI Engineer
Location: NYC / New York, NY
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Golang.
- Strong experience with LLM systems, Agentic AI workflows, and advanced ML infrastructure.
- Proven ownership of complex, cross-functional agentic systems spanning multiple teams or products.
- Strong engineering fundamentals across backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Deep experience across the Agentic AI stack, including planning, tool use, memory, orchestration, and evaluation.
- Fluency with AI-assisted and agentic development workflows.
- Experience translating ambiguous problem spaces into reliable, production-ready autonomous systems.
- Ability to influence technical direction and align teams without formal authority.
- Experience with workflow engines, asynchronous processing, queues, and streaming systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB and Redis.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
