Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain platform services, frameworks, and automation solutions using Python and other modern programming languages.
- Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, enabling repeatable and consistent cloud deployments.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and automated deployment processes.
- Develop reusable platform components, APIs, scripts, and automation tools to eliminate manual operational activities.
- Engineer secure, resilient, and highly available cloud infrastructure across Azure environments.
- Implement observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting to ensure platform health and performance.
- Integrate security controls, policy enforcement, secrets management, and compliance requirements into platform solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform, infrastructure, and application deployment issues across distributed environments.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities to improve platform reliability.
- Collaborate with application, security, architecture, and operations teams to establish platform standards and best practices.
- Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, testing, automation, documentation, and operational best practices.
Required Skills
- Program developer skills
- Advanced programming experience with Python
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and containerized workloads
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Cloud platform experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
- Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Datadog, or Splunk
- Strong understanding of networking, security, identity management, and cloud architecture patterns
- Experience building scalable, production-grade platform and developer enablement solutions
