Finance Data Design Lead
10+ years of experience in data management, data warehousing, analytics and enterprise data design.
- Strong Finance domain experience, including P&L, Balance Sheet, General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, financial hierarchies, multi-currency and fiscal periods.
- Pharmaceutical, biotech or life sciences Finance experience is required.
- Strong experience with SAP Finance, including SAP FI/CO and ECC and/or S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP Finance data including GL, Universal Journal/ACDOCA, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, WBS, Company Codes and hierarchies.
- Strong conceptual, logical and physical data modeling experience.
- Experience with dimensional and normalized data modeling.
- Proven experience creating source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, business rules and build-ready design specifications.
- Working knowledge of Databricks and lakehouse architecture, including Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture and Unity Catalog.
- Experience defining data quality, reconciliation and financial data controls.
- Experience working within enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with both Finance and technical stakeholders.
