We’re Hiring: SCCM Administrator

About the Role
Are you an experienced Endpoint Engineer looking to own and modernize a complex, multi-system environment? We are seeking a skilled SCCM & Systems Administrator to manage our endpoint infrastructure spanning SCCM (Configuration Manager), Active Directory Group Policy (GPO), Microsoft Intune, and Patch My PC.
Key Responsibilities
- SCCM Administration: Manage Configuration Manager infrastructure, SUP/WSUS, Automatic Deployment Rules (ADRs), Distribution Points, boundary groups, and client health. Lead monthly Patch Tuesday releases utilizing Patch My PC.
- OSD & CMPivot: Build and maintain Task Sequences for OS Deployment (OSD), manage driver packages, and use CMPivot for real-time querying and rapid endpoint troubleshooting.
- GPO Governance & Optimization: Design, consolidate, and troubleshoot Active Directory GPOs enforcing security baselines across the domain. Resolve replication, link order, and processing issues using RSoP, GPResult, and Event Viewer.
- Intune & Co-Management: Enroll and manage workstations in co-management between SCCM and Intune, configure Windows Autopilot, deploy apps via Company Portal, and manage BitLocker, MAM, and compliance policies.
- Reporting & Analytics: Build custom SSRS reports and PowerShell scripts to track deployment status, patch compliance, hardware inventory, and system health.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of enterprise SCCM administration experience.
- Group Policy & AD: Strong hands-on experience designing, auditing, and troubleshooting GPOs in multi-domain/multi-OU Active Directory environments.
- Cloud & Co-Management: Hands-on Microsoft Intune experience, including co-management enrollment, application deployment, and Company Portal administration.
- Database & High Availability: SQL Server proficiency for SCCM reporting (custom SSRS) and experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups in multi-server SCCM environments.
- Scripting & Diagnostics: Strong PowerShell scripting skills and expert-level usage of CMTrace across client, server, IIS, and Patch My PC logs.
- Infrastructure: Experience with PKI infrastructure and digital certificate management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using GPMC for pre-deployment policy modeling and auditing.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot, Power BI, and virtualized environments (Hyper-V/VMware).
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework.
