Job Title: SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant - S/4HANA Private Cloud
Location: NJ / NY or nearby (local candidates preferred; hybrid/onsite as required by client)
Employment Type: Full-time (FTE), W-2
Compensation: Up to $180,000 base, plus benefits
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support the design, configuration, and optimization of procurement and inventory processes on SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver solutions across the procure-to-pay lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP MM: purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, and material master.
Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design workshops.
Configure purchase requisitions, POs, scheduling agreements, contracts, source lists, and release strategies.
Manage inventory processes: goods receipts/issues, stock transfers, physical inventory, and valuation.
Integrate MM with PP, SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM, and QM.
Support RICEFW objects: write functional specs, coordinate with ABAP developers, and run unit/integration testing.
Drive data migration, cutover, UAT, and hypercare activities.
Provide L2/L3 support, resolve incidents, and manage change requests.
Ensure compliance with SAP Private Cloud change governance and clean-core principles.
Required Qualifications
15+ years of hands-on SAP MM experience.
1-2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations or migrations, ideally on Private Cloud (RISE) or HANA.
Strong knowledge of procure-to-pay, MRP integration, split valuation, subcontracting, consignment, and third-party procurement.
Experience with Fiori apps and S/4HANA simplifications (Business Partner, MATDOC, MRP Live).
Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP MM or S/4HANA certification.
Experience with Ariba, EWM, or SAP Analytics.
Industry background in manufacturing, pharma, or consumer goods.
