Position Introduction/Key Duties

Cimarron is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support the Engineering Test Team. This position will be responsible for maintaining all test documentation associated with testing of the Commercial Crew Vehicle located at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Key Duties:

  • Control and maintain the Commercial Crew repository center that produces, stores and maintains H.S.I. Test Production and Ground Processing release Detailed Operating Procedures (DOP's) including offs-site testing, landing, and recovery operations.
  • Maintain DOP Work Order Tracking System (DWOTS) for released as-runs.
  • Responsible for the release and archiving of Test and Fluids Procedures used to test flight hardware and Maintain GSE, as well as to ensure requirements are met after each test.
  • Ensure all procedures are signed off and ready for archiving.
  • Work with the test team to review and update test plans.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
  • This is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
  • This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. If you are unsure whether your ID is Real ID-compliant, please check for the star symbol in the upper portion of your driver's license or state ID.
  • 1 or more years of experience with engineering activities
  • Proficient with Microsoft word.
  • High School Diploma.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Experience supporting NASA or aerospace programs.
