Propulsion Calibration Engineer
Position Summary
Our client is looking for a highly motivated Propulsion Calibration Engineer. The primary responsibility of this role is to calibrate the engine control systems to meet regulatory emission standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate and validate functions associated with propulsion systems to achieve compliance with emission standards.
- Conduct vehicle testing and development under various environmental and tolerance conditions to meet certification requirements.
- Deliver calibration at the various program milestones in accordance with the client procedures for the relevant technical areas.
- Verify correct integration of the basic settings recommended by design.
Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
- Powertrain Systems Engineering experience developing Engine HW, Controls/SW, Calibration.
- Drivability and Emissions calibration, Hybrid Powertrain calibration experience.
- Knowledge of INCA/AVL CRETA or similar calibration management tools.
- Knowledge of advanced data processing tools such as MATLAB Simulink
- Knowledge of the engine and vehicle environment
- Emission Standards Experience
