Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled JAMF L3 Engineer to manage, support, engineer, and optimize enterprise Apple device management environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with JAMF Pro, macOS administration, Apple Business Manager, endpoint security, automation, and enterprise MDM/UEM solutions.

The engineer will serve as an L3 escalation point for complex Apple endpoint issues, drive automation and continuous improvement, support large-scale Apple deployments, and collaborate with security, infrastructure, networking, and service desk teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise JAMF Pro environments.
• Configure and manage macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices.
• Create and maintain configuration profiles, policies, smart groups, extension attributes, and automated workflows.
• Manage Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
• Configure PreStage Enrollment and Zero-Touch deployment.
• Manage Self Service application catalogs.
• Support JAMF Cloud and enterprise JAMF environments.

Apple Endpoint Management

• Provision, enroll, configure, update, and decommission MacBook, iMac, iPhone, and iPad devices.
• Manage software packaging, application deployment, patching, and OS upgrades.
• Manage PKG/DMG application packages and application lifecycle.
• Implement device compliance and endpoint management policies.
• Support Apple Silicon devices and enterprise Mac lifecycle management.

macOS Security

• Implement endpoint security baselines and compliance controls.
• Manage FileVault encryption and recovery keys.
• Configure certificates, Keychain, Gatekeeper, and macOS security settings.
• Support CIS/security baseline implementation and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor device compliance and patch status.

Integrations

• Integrate JAMF with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, Active Directory, LDAP, and SSO integrations.
• Support Conditional Access and device compliance integrations.
• Integrate endpoint security platforms such as Microsoft Defender and CrowdStrike.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop automation using Bash/Shell, Python, AppleScript, and JAMF APIs.
• Automate provisioning, compliance checks, remediation, reporting, and lifecycle processes.
• Develop REST API integrations and automated remediation workflows.

L3 Support & Troubleshooting

• Act as the Level 3 escalation point for JAMF and macOS issues.
• Troubleshoot complex JAMF, macOS, authentication, certificate, application, networking, and endpoint security issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Support VPN, Wi-Fi, certificates, printers, and enterprise network configurations.

Operations & Governance

• Participate in Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Create SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, and technical documentation.
• Support endpoint migration, refresh, upgrade, and transformation projects.
• Perform asset, inventory, patch, and compliance reporting.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to L1/L2 engineers.
• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery activities.

· JAMF L3 Engineer

Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD

Active Directory / LDAP.

· SSO and authentication concets

· Enterprise endpoint management / MDM.
