About the job

The Industrial Engineer Product Data & BOM Management (Bill of Material) / Configuration

Management is responsible for owning and maintaining accurate, structured, and

manufacturingready product data across the full product lifecycle. This role assesses planned

changes and orchestrates required updates to company processes, systems, and manufacturing

data systems (such as Bill of Material and Item settings) accordingly for the entire product /

system. Acting as a liaison between Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality,

Accounting, Service, and IT, this position ensures all teams are prepared for product changes.

The engineer will also assist efforts during the scale-up and expansion of manufacturing at our

Torrington, CT facility. And the location is also in Torrington, CT.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

A minimum of 5 plus years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or

configuration management.

Handson experience with ERP and/or PLM systems (D365 preferred).

Ability to determine how operations, environments, and systems interacts.

Advanced knowledge of systems, tools, and solutions for productivity.

Project Management experience.

Experience in manufacturing or production environment.

Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.

Understanding of technical documentation and blueprints.

Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, routings, and cost rollups.

Strong analytical, organizational, and crossfunctional communication skills.

Customer-focused approach to dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Detailed-orientated to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Strong work ethic and positive team attitude with the ability to work independently

and/or as part of a team.
