Project Manager
Position Summary
The Project Manager will serve as the Lead PM for the implementation and enhancement of critical IT projects and the iSMART/Training Management System (TMS) replacement and continued support of the Web Infrastructure for Treatments (WITS) product.
The PM will be responsible for driving projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring delivery within approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements. The role requires strong stakeholder management, project planning, risk management, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 7-9 years of relevant Project Management experience.
- PMP certification for at least 5 years through the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Must be a current Pennsylvania resident.
- Must be able to work in the Harrisburg, PA office at least 1 day per month, with additional onsite work as required.
- Strong knowledge of PMI project management methodologies and project lifecycle phases.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects from planning through implementation.
Highly Desired
- Experience implementing SaaS solutions.
- Strong background in Public Health, particularly Drug and Alcohol Programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Project Management Plans, schedules, estimates, budgets, communication plans, and deliverables matrices.
- Manage the complete project lifecycle, including planning, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and transition.
- Track project progress, milestones, budget, resources, and deliverables; take corrective action when required.
- Manage multiple workstreams and coordinate priorities across project teams.
- Identify, document, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID) through resolution.
- Prepare and present weekly status reports, project metrics, recommendations, and executive updates.
- Ensure projects follow established PMO standards, procedures, quality processes, and change-management practices.
- Coordinate system testing, peer reviews, training, orientations, and implementation activities.
- Work closely with Application, Data Warehouse, Informatics, Solution Management, Networking, Security, and Service Management teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related issues and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor project performance against schedule, budget, scope, and service commitments.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and proactively escalate issues requiring management attention.
- Mentor junior project management staff when needed.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings, presentations, reviews, and project evaluations.
- Ensure project deliverables meet business, technical, quality, and compliance requirements.
