Associate Software Programmer (TS clearance, SCI eligibility)

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering user requirements and help translate them into basic software solutions with guidance from senior developers.
• Write and maintain simple, functional code under the supervision of more experienced team members.
• Support web development tasks and provide basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Python, Java, or C#; basic understanding of SQL and databases is helpful.
• Learn and begin applying Agile methodologies and participate in team sprints and stand-ups.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to collaborative problem-solving.
• Show enthusiasm for learning new technologies, frameworks, and tools relevant to the team's work.
• Collaborate with team members to help deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
• Attend team planning and design sessions to build understanding of project goals.
• Support testing and assist in verifying software functionality and performance.
• Provide user support for minor technical issues and escalate as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in progress or recently completed in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to web and software development through academic, internship, or early professional experience; Government/defense project exposure is a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, and basic problem-solving ability.
• Any clearance requirements for this position are established by the government contract.
