Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead.NET to lead the design, development, enhancement, integration, and support of enterprise financial applications supporting asset finance, commercial lending, equipment financing, and dealer management operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, RESTful Web APIs, and enterprise application integration. Experience with asset finance, loan and lease lifecycle management, financial platforms, or dealer portal applications is highly desirable.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, QA teams, and distributed development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing financial applications. The role requires technical leadership, problem-solving capabilities, production support experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET,.NET technologies, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Design and implement business logic, reusable components, RESTful APIs, and application integration services.
  • Lead technical implementation and support of financial applications involving asset finance, commercial lending, equipment financing, and dealer portal workflows.
  • Support end-to-end loan and lease lifecycle processes, including quote creation, application processing, credit approvals, contract generation, funding, disbursement, and servicing.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between financial platforms, dealer portals, document management systems, and downstream accounting and reporting applications.
  • Analyze business requirements, prepare technical designs, estimate development effort, and translate functional specifications into technical solutions.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, database objects, and data-processing workflows.
  • Troubleshoot application defects, investigate data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production incidents.
  • Lead application deployments, release management, change management, and post-production validation.
  • Ensure application security, data integrity, performance, availability, and compliance with applicable enterprise standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, mentor developers, and provide technical guidance to the development team.
  • Coordinate with business analysts, QA engineers, infrastructure teams, and offshore delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage technical risks, dependencies, escalations, and delivery timelines while maintaining application stability and service-level commitments.
  • Prepare technical documentation, support knowledge transfer, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, application engineering, or enterprise application delivery.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and.NET application development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful Web APIs and integrating enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, business logic implementation, application architecture, and software design principles.
  • Experience with JSON, XML, IIS, Microsoft Visual Studio, and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Experience with application debugging, unit testing, code reviews, deployment, and production troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile delivery practices, version control, and release management.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with asset finance, equipment finance, commercial lending, automotive finance, or leasing applications.
  • Experience with FIS Asset Finance, AurionPro, or similar financial services platforms.
  • Experience supporting dealer portals, loan origination systems, loan servicing platforms, or contract management applications.
  • Knowledge of credit approval workflows, lease and loan documentation, funding operations, payment processing, and accounting integrations.
  • Experience with document generation and management platforms, workflow automation, and third-party system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Postman, and application monitoring or incident management tools.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating onsite-offshore delivery.
  • Experience providing Level 2/Level 3 application support for business-critical financial systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
