Mechanical Engineer

Our team is growing and looking to add an experienced electrical engineer team member to our Health & Science Team with a minimum of 10 years of design experience, ideally with experience in healthcare design. Minimum two years of design experience in the consulting engineering industry. Candidate will be responsible for technical performance as well as possess diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Must have the ability to apply techniques, modifications and theories and have the ability to make decisions independently while still utilizing guidance from other engineers and project managers. Responsibilities:

  • Design mechanical systems for commercial buildings (project size will vary based upon experience)
  • Perform load calculations & code research
  • Coordinate with internal team members including engineers, admins, and drafters
  • Conduct periodic job site observations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the MEP industry preferred, but entry level candidates are also encouraged to apply
  • EIT preferred

Location: Lakewood, CO

Travel: 5%

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
