Job Title: ServiceNow SPM Architect
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: Long term contract
Job Description:
- Senior technical and strategic leader who designs, implements, and governs Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and related enterprise architecture solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Translate high-level business objectives and PMO (Project Management Office) requirements into scalable technical blueprints.
- Design workflows and models across Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Agile Development, Resource Management, Financial Planning, Investment Funding, and the Strategic Planning Workspace.
- Align SPM with Enterprise Architecture (EA) (formerly Application Portfolio Management / APM) and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Enforce out-of-box (OOB) platform capabilities and best practices to prevent over-customization that can break during major platform upgrades.
- Lead executive workshops, guide development and migration teams, and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years working hands-on with the ServiceNow platform, with deep specialization in SPM/ITBM modules.
- Strong command of Agile, Waterfall, hybrid project governance, and portfolio investment strategies.
- Relevant ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) credentials targeting SPM or ITOM/EA.
- Proficiency in data schemas, platform security models, REST/integration layers, and AI-driven portfolio insights
