Google Cloud Platform Cloud Champion Pre-Sales & Architecture | Financial Services
Location: NYC Metro Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Role Overview
Seeking a client-facing Google Cloud Platform Cloud Champion to support Financial Services clients across cloud architecture, migration, modernization, pre-sales, and delivery. The role combines hands-on Google Cloud Platform solutioning with client engagement and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Google Cloud Platform architecture and cloud migration/modernization initiatives.
- Participate in pre-sales, solution design, and client discussions.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Financial Services clients.
- Partner with delivery teams to drive projects from solutioning through implementation.
- Provide technical guidance across cloud, security, governance, and cloud-native solutions.
- Develop reusable Google Cloud Platform solutions and capabilities.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.
- Cloud architecture, migration, or modernization experience.
- Client-facing and pre-sales/solutioning experience.
- Financial Services experience - banking, insurance, capital markets, or trading.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- GKE/Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps, IAM/Governance
- Microservices and cloud-native architecture.
- Consulting or IT services background.
- Google Cloud Platform certification is a plus.
