Job Description & Skill Requirement:

The Mechatronics Engineer will demonstrate leadership in communicating, developing, and executing automated manufacturing equipment, with a focus on robotic and automation applications. The role will support process development, design, validation, and change management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct robot configurations and complete automated set points for assigned projects and equipment using various robot programming languages.
  • Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation and robotic system components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and components.
  • Develop concepts and designs aligned with client requirements and specifications.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and complex automated system drawings.
  • nalyze engineering test results and implement changes to resolve problems.
  • Collaborate with the automation team during the qualification of automated systems.
  • Record procedures, results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for product or process improvements.
  • Develop software, documentation, and equipment according to the latest revision and operational specifications.
  • ssist engineers in developing and designing hardware and software for automation solutions.
  • Train technicians and operators on products, processes, and equipment.
  • Properly use power tools and measuring equipment.
  • Travel up to 15% as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • B.S. in Engineering, Technical Practice, or equivalent.
  • Experience in engineering, quality, production, or manufacturing operations within a product development environment.
  • Understanding of pneumatic functions and implementations.
  • Experience implementing, programming, and troubleshooting automated equipment.
  • Basic understanding of integrating various robots and cobots, including:
  • Fanuc
  • Staubli
  • BB
  • Kawasaki
  • bility to design complex automated systems according to specifications.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • bility to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of PLCs.
  • Knowledge of HMI software.
  • Experience with vision system integration in automated work cells.
