Role Description & Responsibilities
- Primary Objective: Work with agency unit stakeholders to document and understand existing business processes, specifically concerning compliance with applicable regulations and mandated reporting to the state or SAMHSA. Define To-Be requirements and processes to support the design and development of new critical infrastructure aligned with the agency's technology roadmap.
- Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Leading JAD sessions for As-Is/To-Be business processes and use cases.
- Interviewing stakeholders to document requirements for existing and new critical infrastructure projects.
- Working across all bureaus and units to understand mission-critical business processes.
- Software & Hardware: Typically uses Visio, Excel, Word, Salesforce, and Dell or HP laptops.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience Requirements:
- 84+ months of experience eliciting and analyzing stakeholder business needs into verified/validated functional and non-functional requirements.
- 84+ months of experience creating and maintaining software development artifacts (BRDs, use cases, report mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, swim lane diagrams, etc.).
- 84+ months of experience facilitating requirements workshops, such as JAD sessions and structured walkthroughs.
- 72+ months of experience managing requirements throughout the lifecycle (requirements management plan, traceability matrix, baselines, and change control).
- 60+ months of experience creating test plans/cases and working with users on User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Preferred Certifications & Education:
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst or Salesforce Administrator / Developer certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, information science, criminal justice, health science, computer science, mathematics, or public/business administration.
