SAP Basis Consultant - SAP S/4HANA & RISE

CTG is seeking to fill an SAP Basis Consultant - SAP S/4HANA & RISE position for our client.

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Administer, maintain, and support SAP S/4HANA systems across complex enterprise landscapes.
• Support SAP RISE environments and cloud-based SAP implementations and operations.
• Perform SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• Ensure SAP system stability, availability, security, and optimal performance.
• Support SAP architecture, high availability, disaster recovery, and system reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with project teams, infrastructure partners, and business stakeholders on SAP transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate system changes, releases, and maintenance activities to minimize operational disruption.
• Identify opportunities to improve SAP administration through automation and monitoring tools.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve complex system issues, and communicate status and risks to stakeholders.

Skills:

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Basis administration and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP RISE and cloud-based SAP landscapes.
• Knowledge of SAP architecture, high availability, system monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced project environment.
• Preferred: SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP ChaRM (Change Request Management), and automation and monitoring tools.

Experience:

• 15 years of SAP Basis administration experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with SAP RISE implementations or operations and cloud-based SAP landscapes.
• Proven experience managing SAP system administration, upgrades, migrations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting complex SAP environments and critical transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, collaborate across technical teams, and proactively resolve issues.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, or related certifications are a plus.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00 to $95.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
