Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Network and Computer Systems Administrators to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Translate enterprise architecture strategies and requirements into detailed technical designs, implementation standards, and engineering direction.
2. Design self-service infrastructure provisioning models and Infrastructure as Code standards for automated infrastructure deployment and lifecycle management.
3. Define integration architectures connecting enterprise service management, infrastructure platforms, monitoring solutions, and asset management systems.
4. Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, resolve complex architecture issues, and ensure infrastructure solutions meet scalability, security, reliability, and operational requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

6-9 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, enterprise platform design, Infrastructure as Code, systems integration, and infrastructure automation.

Technical Skills

Infrastructure Architecture, Terraform, Ansible, ServiceNow, REST APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, GitOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Infrastructure Automation

Business / Domain Skills

1. Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure architecture and private cloud platforms, including infrastructure strategy, technical design, self-service provisioning, and lifecycle management within complex enterprise environments.
2. Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
3. Experience defining infrastructure service delivery and integration models, including provisioning workflows, service catalogs, configuration and asset management, change management, and coordination across enterprise platforms.
4. Experience establishing scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure operations, including monitoring and observability, incident management, access governance, infrastructure onboarding, configuration compliance, and operational automation.

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience designing enterprise observability, automated incident management, and infrastructure remediation capabilities.
2. Experience with CMDB/DCIM integrations, automated infrastructure onboarding, identity integrations, and enterprise messaging platforms.
3. Strong technical leadership, architectural decision-making, systems thinking, and cross-functional communication skills.
