Job Title: Data Center Network Engineer (IT Developer/Engineer)
Location: Frisco, TX (Hybrid schedule: 1-2x/week onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Role Overview
Seeking an experienced IT Developer/Engineer Fellow to support a large enterprise technology environment. This role will be responsible for leading enterprise infrastructure deliverables from initiation through closure while coordinating cross-functional teams across networking, storage, security, cloud, and data center operations.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data center networking, infrastructure technologies, and large-scale compute and storage deployments. This position requires hands-on experience supporting mission-critical enterprise environments, including migrations, refresh initiatives, and data center network architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise infrastructure deliverables from initiation through project closure.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across networking, storage, security, cloud, and data center operations.
- Support large-scale data center compute and storage deployments, migrations, and refresh initiatives.
- Configure and troubleshoot Quality of Service (QoS), VLANs, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and related network services.
- Utilize troubleshooting and monitoring tools such as NetFlow, SolarWinds, and application response monitoring solutions.
- Assist with network and infrastructure issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Support enterprise networking operations in complex data center environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and scalable network services.
- Participate in architecture reviews and infrastructure planning activities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience planning, coordinating, and delivering large-scale data center compute and storage deployments, migrations, and refresh projects.
- Strong understanding of server, virtualization, storage, and networking technologies and their interdependencies within enterprise data center environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise compute, storage, and infrastructure platforms supporting mission-critical business applications.
- Advanced knowledge of networking technologies including:
- TCP/IP
- Routing
- DNS/DDNS
- DHCP
- SSH
- VPNs
- F5 LTM and GTM
- IP routing protocols including RIP, BGP, OSPF
- IP Multicast
- MPLS
- Strong IPv4 and IPv6 experience.
- Deep understanding of:
- Network infrastructure
- IP addressing
- IP traffic management
- DNS/DHCP
- NTP
- Security platforms
- Network monitoring solutions
- Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) technologies.
- Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities.
- Experience supporting HPE Aruba, 3Com, H3C, Arista, and Juniper switching environments.
- Experience supporting Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point security platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Juniper and Arista hardware switches.
- Experience working within data center network environments.
- Strong experience with Leaf-Spine network architecture.
