Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Network and Computer Systems Administrators to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure automation solutions for provisioning, configuration management, and infrastructure lifecycle operations.
2. Build Python-based automation, REST API integrations, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD pipelines to support infrastructure deployment and management.
3. Integrate infrastructure services with enterprise service management, configuration management databases, monitoring platforms, and asset inventory systems.
4. Troubleshoot production infrastructure issues and implement automation for configuration drift detection, remediation, access controls, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

6-9 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, Infrastructure as Code, platform automation, DevOps, and enterprise infrastructure lifecycle management.

Technical Skills

Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST APIs, Git, GitOps, CI/CD, ServiceNow, Kubernetes, Infrastructure Automation

Business / Domain Skills

1. Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and private cloud platforms within financial services or large-scale technology organizations, including infrastructure onboarding, provisioning, configuration management, and ongoing operations.
2. Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
3. Experience managing the infrastructure lifecycle, including virtual machine and container platform provisioning, service onboarding, asset and configuration tracking, access controls, monitoring, and operational support.
4. Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure reliability and operational efficiency through standardized provisioning, configuration compliance, change management, incident remediation, disaster recovery, and continuous process improvement.

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience integrating infrastructure automation with ServiceNow Service Catalog, Flow Designer, CMDB, and change management workflows.
2. Experience with infrastructure monitoring automation, inventory synchronization, configuration drift remediation, and automated infrastructure onboarding.
3. Strong troubleshooting, independent problem-solving, technical execution, and collaboration skills across architecture and engineering teams.
