Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Pro/5 and BBj languages
- Create integrations in and out of Pro/5 systems using technologies such as HTTP, XML, and RPC
- Work with existing code bases developed by others and follow specifications to enhance functionality
- Collaborate with team members in a formal SDLC environment
- Utilize Microsoft SQL Server for troubleshooting and creating SQL queries
Requirements:
Required:
- 10+ years of recent hands-on Pro/5 and BBj development experience
- Experience with integrating applications in a Pro/5 system
- Ability to work with custom code bases and follow specifications
- Experience working in a formal SDLC environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries
Preferred:
- Experience in the Hospitality / Vacation Ownership industry
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Familiarity with other Business Basic variants such as Thoroughbred BASIC, ProvideX, MAI OpenBasic
- Experience with external logging platforms like Splunk or Dynatrace
Caveat:
Individuals with prior Vistana, Starwood Vacation Ownership experience should be vetted with MVW early in the consideration cycle.
