JD Summary Senior Full Stack Software Engineer Java (6 9 Years)
This role is for a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer with 6 9 years of experience, focused on building scalable, secure, cloud-native applications for Fidelity s investment, trading, portfolio management, or retirement platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Core.
- Build secure and scalable REST APIs and microservices, including API versioning, authentication, error handling, backward compatibility, and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
- Develop modern front-end applications using JavaScript/TypeScript with Angular or React.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Develop AWS cloud-native solutions using services such as:
- Lambda
- S3
- DynamoDB
- CloudWatch
- CloudFormation
- Kinesis
- EKS
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Sonar, Docker, and Ansible.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and component testing using JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test, etc.
- Implement observability, monitoring, performance tuning, secure coding, and production-readiness practices using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and CloudWatch.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development, sprint commitments, story refinement, dependency management, and collaboration with architects, product owners, QA, and engineering teams.
- Contribute to code reviews, reusable components, engineering standards, and continuous improvement.
