CTG is seeking to fill an SAP HANA Technical Consultant - S/4HANA & Cloud Migration position for our client.
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
- Lead client-facing SAP HANA technical consulting and provide guidance on architecture, implementation, and migration best practices.
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
- Plan and execute SAP system and cloud migrations, including SAP ECC and related enterprise systems.
- Optimize SAP HANA system performance, scalability, availability, and reliability.
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and technical issue resolution.
- Support data migration, replication, and integration using SAP LT Replication Server (SLT), SAP Data Services, and related tools.
- Collaborate with clients and technical teams to gather requirements, develop migration strategies, and deliver technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture designs, and knowledge base materials.
- Stay current with SAP HANA technologies, cloud migration methodologies, and SAP best practices.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Basis administration, and cloud migration.
- Experience with SAP ECC and related SAP applications, including BW, SCM, CRM, SRM, and HCM.
- Proficiency in SQL, SAP system architecture, database administration, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP LT Replication Server (SLT), and SAP ASE.
- Understanding of SAP data migration, replication, system integration, and high-availability solutions.
- Strong client-facing communication, technical leadership, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP HANA environments.
- Experience leading SAP technical projects involving S/4HANA implementations, cloud migrations, or SAP landscape transformations.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex SAP technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Experience advising clients on SAP architecture, migration planning, and technical best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with functional, infrastructure, database, and cloud teams.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- SAP HANA, SAP Basis, or SAP S/4HANA certifications are preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $170,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
